our Story

Small Scholars Preschool originated as a large family daycare in Miss Mindy's home in 2005. In 2007, recognizing the growing demand, she decided to expand and relocate to its current location, distinguishing itself among many preschools in town. Mindy introduced a half-day program that offered slightly more extended hours than typical half-day programs; this piqued many parents' interest. Additionally, she implemented a lunchtime stay for the children, a unique feature. Small Scholars also stands out for welcoming children as young as 15 months old, spanning toddler through five years of age, a distinctive offering for a preschool. Over the past 18 years at this location, approximately 20 children per year have successfully transitioned from Small Scholars to Kindergarten. With a dedicated staff and positive recommendations, Small Scholars has built and maintained a thriving reputation in Plymouth.
